I think GB was referring to American investors in general, not the Neville's.

The Americans will have been brought in by Beckham so it’s no real surprise really.

Of all the players I've seen released so far and if were in the market for a permanent 'keeper, we could do a lot worse than Jamal Blackman, released by Shrewsbury.

Wasnt he on trial previously and turned down a deal?

It’s not uncommon playing silly buggers in the play offs with allocations partly because the losses are negated by the fact the gate money is split up. Last year was it that MK Dons split the Crawley allocation to more or less two side of the goal in the top tier with a massive gap between them. Coventry fans are whining about only getting 2500 at Sunderland forgetting the fact their behaviour throwing objects at home fans below them is part of the reason for the smaller allocation. Couple of years ago Sheff we’d got petty over only getting a similar allocation at Sunderland so only opened the back part of the top tier to reduce Sunderland’s allocation.

Further point….both MK Dons and Sheff Wed lost after doing it!

Perhaps another field that should be in the calculation being the longevity of the season ticket holder. Whilst welcoming new season ticket holders with open arms, I feel the ones who coughed up through all the grim times, should gain a few extra points in any point scoring system.

Problem there being we have changed ticketing systems two or three times so how feasible that is to do i'm not sure.
