Heard a disturbing story last week regarding the council having sold Dema to a superstore, in its entirity?
with no Football club included!!!!!
now I didn't think that this was possible, but I was told this is a reason for the silence. The council are keeping a low profile while they come up with a reasonable excuse for doing this?
I heard this earlier last week and wondered if anyone else posted anything. It was all down to money and the best offer?
really don't know if any of this is true, the source was close to the club.
If this was true the thoughts were that politically this would be very damaging for the council?
I would point out I posted this for a reaction and not scaremongering as I find this as very sinister and something the club would have little say in?

:P Thought this had been cleared up on a previous thread last month.Sainsburys pulled out which had caused the initial delay and Tesco have stepped in to build a new store with the intention of selling old site for a housing development.
Many a good tune

Lots of rumours re which end of the site Tesco want and whether we may be asked to move across to their existing site. Someone official please confirm that this is rubbish.

The official reply will be that Wilson Bowden has found a partner that has agreed to build on the Dema site along side the Stadium. I am not aware that any more has been said.

Vice chairman of the CFSS and you know diddly squat, with the share offer dismally failing and no news on the invester (if there was ever one in the first place) where is the £4m+ shortfall to be found?
