An easy pop at his employers at the time. I am sure that the likes of crooty would have a different version of events but very wise of them now to simply say no comment. Tomorrow?s chip paper..

Clearly an absolute disgrace the way he was treat by Croot and the Trust

Without a doubt the best manager ppg we will ever have

2 losses all season and playing in front of 40000 at the European Champions

A 60 percent win rate taking over a failing club heading to oblivion

Does anyone think Cook would have come in at the time JR left Gloucester? Of course not, the foundations had been laid

James Rowe saved our football club and we should all be eternally grateful and equally ashamed by his treatment

'In court Chesterfield were asked why they prevented players from assisting the case despite written requests to do so.'

This is crucial to the acquittal imo, despite it being presented as a criticism of CFC in the article. If this question was asked in open court it would of course have a profound effect on the jury.
Good Barrister.

If he continued with the turnover of players at his rate the club would have gone out of business. Initially I thought he was a decent manager but cracks were appearing and eventually he would have got the sack.
The article shows the arrogance of the man and just a tiny, grudging acceptance ( I have deep regrets, obviously, about my behaviour in the moment but it was a private matter that should have remained private) that he did not act in the best manner and personally I don?t want anyone like that managing this club

Utter bell end of a person, so glad he?s gone and we?ve got a proper manager in who doesn?t have us signing 3 new players every time we lose a match, who doesn?t ruin our home pitch by training on it and who doesn?t try to bite people?s noses off 🤎🤎🤎

60 percent win ratio, over 2points per game

Unprecedented

1 win in 8 home games btw

Cracks appearing? The loss at the Champions of Europe, because we?d lost 2 games all season.

We?d only lost 2 all season so that?s only 6 players😉

One for the legal experts on here, then. If these players had been called as witnesses in the trial, would the club have had any authority to stop them?
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Well said.

When I read S&D's post, the bit about the foundations being laid, I did wonder how that reconciled with the revolving door policy that we all witnessed.

No, which implies that the Judge ruled that their evidence couldn't be heard.

Again, if the principle of the validity of their evidence is debated in open court, it affects the jurors imo. To be clear, that's the principle, not the actual evidence.

I don't think there were any press coverage of the Friday court proceedings.

Do you know what, I never warmed to him.

What I saw was an egotistical operator doing his best to convince people that he was suited to his surroundings by overcomplicating subjects and by using words that left his audience scratching their heads at times.

When Rowe joined the club, a couple of directors said that they had known of him for some time and it still baffles me to this day that having met and interviewed him, they considered him to be a good fit for what the Club and the Trust were trying to achieve at the time. It was obvious to me that the relationship would turn sour quite quickly due to the personalities involved.

If he's your type of person, keep banging your drum. He's certainly not mine.

Three dugout bust ups in the first three home matches after crowds were allowed back.
