Truth is, your doing what your alleging im doing, guessing, the league hand book will almost certainly state the league will present it when they deem fit or similar wording.

If the police or SAG want it differently, theyd have to give a reason.... 10k on a Saturday v Maidenhead or 10k on a Saturday v Boreham Wood.... where is the police / SAG argument?

Me personally, Im not bothered and dont support either date, you seem to have the issues here on that it MUST be the final game, with your argument being that its 'traditional'.

Also, whos to say this rumour is even true?

No HIS issue is if anything that the club say or do is not to his taste or liking then CFC are Useless/Wrong/Puppets/Spineless or all of the above

My argument is that this is what was advertised and people / fans / customers have made plans around.

Again, all the rubbish decisions that affect fans never seem to be the clubs fault, why do they never stand up to these stupid decisions and say "no that is bang out of order for our fans"?

Still I don't suppose you could expect much more from leadership that stood idly by while Dave Allen et al nearly killed the club. Spineless.

As far as i'm aware at no point have Chesterfield FC advertised the final game as seeing the team lift the trophy, lot of assumption that would be the case but thats all.

Where did the club advertise the trophy (which we haven't won yet - but could be won mid March) is going to be lifted on APR 20th? I've not seen that advert?
if Ive missed it then I apologise ;-)

Not only that but this fixture has been sold out for weeks, before we knew we were going to win it, not knowing when the kickoff is (it’s been shifted the last two seasons at least) and assuming the trophy was to be awarded at the end of this fixture whenever it’s played.

You do realise it’s not our trophy, it’s the leagues trophy and they will be the one that dictate when it gets presented, not us

I wouldn’t bother. It’s all because he gets to miss it. All his posts are selfish, self-centred drivel.

I know, I don’t know why it winds me up so much. If it’s Sat I’ll miss it too, but I really don’t care because all that matters to me is we’ve won the damn thing and get back to the EFL

Just love folk getting worked up about rumours .

Theoretically if we lose tonight and Saturday and Barnet win would the trophy be slipped back I'm someone's car boot and silently removed ?

Is it just coincidence that the first season TNT air the National league we apparently get told that we're lifting the trophy on the day they are airing our match? Even if there is still a number of matches left to play?

Not been done before....

As we’ve already won the championship with several games to go why don’t the club ask the league if we can lift the trophy twice; once at home and once at Wealdstone so that we can satisfy our entitled southern fanbase?

Based on that first half performance, looks like the team want to do it at the end of the season.

At this rate we’ll need a point against Maidenhead

At least I’ve got my £7 500/1 saver on Barnet

I know that. But if it's true then it's TNT that are demanding this happens, BT never did.

How anti-climatic would it be if we only went up Sat'di 'cos Barnet failed to win...

i'd love it because it means we're up and that is all that counts but i'd much rather we do it be not losing cos i never want us to lose.
i said a few days ago it's like a darts player who only needs double 16 to win whilst the opponent is stuck on 330, we;; we've now a couple of throws at it and missed, gotta to make sure we do it saturday, this can not keep going on
