I gonna take a guess if the game goes ahead that the surface will not cater for our passing game. I can see it cutting up badly and bobbling all over the shop.
I have a prediction that a lot of long ball up to Quigley and long range shots or a set piece will endnup winning this.

So you'd rather we foresake the (111) points record just so you get to see is win the NL on Saturday. That's more than selfish.

All take, take, take, that's me!

I'd forgotten all about the points total.

I’d like to see us win it Saturday as I can’t get tomorrow, if that’s selfish then so be it, but if we win it tomorrow all well and good, I’ve long since stopped caring about the pious viewpoints of others on here..
BTW the overnight forecast and weather into tomorrow at Halifax is grim! Moderate to heavy rain from now until 3pm tomorrow afternoon. Might the ref feel pushed into giving the go head regardless of pitch condition? Cue Clarevoyant!

Come across here and stand in the selfish corner.

He's right though, it would be great to break the record. However, if we are to lose a game between now and the end of the season, selfish me wouldn't mind it being tonight!

You mean when considering the 611 Barnet got at home tonight, including Mr.Tooley and friends. For Halifax on a wet Wednesday night,no guarantee of it being THE game,no guarantee the game will go ahead,I would consider a more than reasonable turnout.

2000 would be awful

Why would WBA sell out 2500 easily for an unimportant game in midwinter and a worse drive

Our fan base in very strange

It was 2400 for the play off game at Halifax the other year

Tonight’s game is pretty much a re run of the play off final without the jeopardy

It was 2000 at lunchtime, probably closer to 2500 by the end of the day. I would be surprised and disappointed if the rest didn't sell out this morning. I'm pulling my lad out of school at lunchtime to make the bus for this one - you don't get to potentially witness promotion before your eyes very often.

Ah ok

My lad is 17 and finishing college early with loads of others

He did see it at Burton the other year and got lifted over the barrier for fear of being crushed and sat at the front with the photographers and stewards

I expect the remaining will sell out this morning

I also predict that come midday or a little while after, someone will bemoan the clubs arrangements for selling out of these tickets because:

a) they couldnt get down to get a ticket (despite numerous offers from many here to get tickets for exiles)
b) it wasn't advertised well enough that they have been on sale for the past 4 working days
c) they didn't want to take the risk in purchasing for a game that has been postponed twice and its the clubs fault for not being able to control the weather

I was swinging off the crossbar, dressed as an old lady, with a fag in my mouth.

It's my daughter's first away game. She would have been furious if I'd said we weren't going. Child/parent pressure will push us close to the 3000 I'm sure.

That call is no good for my nerves, Boreham Stiff being our bogey team. If we lose 2 games in succession it's down to you!

That dawned on me last night at Full Time as I tapped the bottle of champagne in the fridge and said maybe tomorrow

D) it’s the clubs fault that Halifax are tin pot and couldn’t organise a urine up in the barrel and it should be pay on the day to suit everyone

I want us to field our best side t'neet'.

I want us to destroy Halifax.

I want us to go up in style.

Then I want us to play with style and swagger and smash through the hundred point and goal barrier like a blue and white juggernaut...

Steady rain in Huddersfield at the moment has been heavy at 6.30am

Anyone heard if there is a pitch inspection planned ?

I’m sure someone on here could get you a ticket and meet you there? I’m at work otherwise I would.

You'll be able to go in the home end no issue.
