With the way we have played the last 2 games and how lucky we have been I would happily take a draw now. The home record will be seriously tested on Saturday

Not sure. I have a feeling complacency setting in with the crowd. Gates starting to drop and atmosphere flat in recent games. I am going for 8k.

Jesus Christ you really do bring joy to the masses!!

Do you ever have any positive views….lighten up man jeez

The atmosphere has been flat and probably an expectation that we will just turn up and win has a a lot to do with it. As far as the drop in attendances go, three midweek games out of five home games in January and no offers on - it shouldn’t take much explaining.
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

So on to Southend then. Of all the home games this is the one I am not looking forward to.
They will know we can be beaten with their tactics. One thing I am certain of, is that they won't sit back and park the bus. They will be on the front foot closing us down not giving us any time on the ball, stopping our pass press game. In our faces and hitting us on the break.
I hope PC knows all of this and has some sort of plan to counter, whatever that may be.
Not being a doom monger just a realist of what's likely to happen, but hopefully if we wise up to their game plan we can come away with a win and retain our excellent record.

Of everything you say i would be amazed if Cook and co are not aware of how they are likely to play....they arent just going to go in blindly! There will be an element of countering what they do through tactics and selection but at the same time we have to trust how we play to bring the result as we have done all season.

We have had approx 18 home games and all the teams have arrived here with various tactics and everyone bar one has been beaten so why should this be any different.............

What part of the ground have they been given. Its a bit confusing when you go to buy a ticket. It is saying there are available tickets in the North Stand and East stand??

Southend will have to play a lot better than they did when they beat us down there- if they want to take something from the game. Or rely on gifts of a going nowhere daft foul for a penalty and/or one of the softest goals we’ve conceded all season. Again.
