Spot on, anyone thinking this is going to be an easy game will be having to think again .

What if we win 5-0 and it’s easy?

Listening to the Gateshead manager the definitive list of changes from what I could make out is……
Out:
4 regulars left the squad since Xmas (and one irregular)
5 regulars injured (2 long term and 3 very recently), one should be back for our game
In:
2 recalled from loan (one injured)
Manager hopes to get a couple in for our game (wasn’t clear if he was talking about loan recalls or new players)

They’ve signed a keeper on loan today, Eddie Beach from Premier League side Chelsea.
“Beach, 20, joins having made eight appearances for the Blues in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy this season.”

Get ready for the fall out when those who bought (or had bought for them) a Half Season Ticket for Xmas or to guarantee a Watford Ticket can't get in with it on Wednesday night!

I hope they've got extra staff in the ticket office planned, could be bedlam!

Hopefully they “should have been told” when purchasing 😂

Bit frosty in the south west today, which normally means it's proper Baltic further north, any chance a frozen pitch gets this called off?

Forecast is no lower than 4 degrees between now and 9pm. Should be fine.

No frost for ages this way, been colder but not to the point of causing any issues other than it will be cold sat watching the game!

Not being a betting man, would there be odds available for us being awarded a penalty. If and it's a big if we are cruising and it's not crucial, the chances could be pretty good

We don't tend to get penalties especially at critical times, tonight may see an opportunity to award a pen at a none critical time.

Still as clear as mud no doubt

They’ve recalled Oli Thompson from Ashington today and he’s eligible for tonight’s game.
Now that’s a name from the past for we older Spireites.

Well the ref loves a card. Gives 4 or 5 out a game on average booking 6 or 7 occasionally. Buckle up!
Here we go again!

Only 5/4 for a pen for either team so not great.

If they were full strength it would have the potential to be match of the season. Gateshead play some of the best football in the league. As it is, we should tank em.

Best football in league? How many points are they behind us?

Some of. Not saying they defend particularly well, but their build up play is excellent and rivals ours. Well, it did until they lost half their team.
