We keep coming out on top again & again & again
The ref just absolutely spoiled the game though…total incompetence from him.
It’s great entertainment for the fans isn’t it…and it’s games like this that win promotion…last season we’d have drawn or lost…but we keep pulling goals out right at the depth

I'm of the opinion that referees performances are very related to the number of cards they dish out. The good refs exercise control without having to go in their pockets every five minutes - that one tonight couldn't keep control with a 12-bore.

He made it all about him. We came out talking about him, like Waller says, he spoiled a good game of football tonight.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Couldn't make it tonight due to illness but hey ho watching on TV probably did nothing for my blood pressure . The most incompetent display by an official in years and it's hard to get worse but the boundary was pushed tonight
Can't salute yer can't find a flag if that don't suit yer that's a drag

Well from coasting we let them back in,and Halifax took control and we struggled ,were not going to keep nicking it in injury time, but we kept at it ,at home stroking cat with my fingers crossed ,when quiggs went through he could have squared it to whoever it was ,but he's at it this season so I'm praising him ,well done quiggs you've a new fan?

the less said about tonight's officials the better, so i'll focus on the character our squad has clearly got. 2-0 up and cruising, then we do what we do and allow the opposition a route back into the game through our own doing, from then on it became an even game and halifax got themeselves on top and at 2-2 and a player heavy they should have gone onto win, yet we found a way. Credit quiggs for another outstanding winner, that's 3 games he's won for us now this season.
this team i feel has more gears to go up this season, it feels to me like our biggest opponent is ourselves.
good use of the bench again tonight...
now for a lie down.

No. The more said about them the better.
These officials were a joke, we couldn't put a foot in to challenge because we were pulled up, we couldn't say anything to the ref cos he booked the players. The team couldn't go into any tackles cos they knew the officials were against them. Ok, we played some stray passes but any other time we would have won the ball back with ease (like we were doing prior to their goal) but the ref stopped it.
He spoiled a good game.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Tonight was comparable to the Solihull game a couple of years ago, just after Cook rejoined

2 nil up and seemingly in control and a bizarre decision swung the game to them and we lost 3-2

I suppose tonight was a little different in that, he made a few bizarre decisions against them too, and we needed that red card to even the sides up to give us that lift to go on and win it

That being said, this side just doesn't know when its beaten and what noise for the goal!!

Great entertainment

I think we have only gone into injury time at home this season winning in one game. That was against Oldham, the one home game we didn’t win. Ironic.

Were we not winning against Dorking 3-2 and we both scored again in added time?

Great entertainment

I had the same thought. It was some time before I attended a game in person after that Solihull debacle as it illustrated how this league is skewed against teams actually trying to play the game of football. Last night was similar.
These go to eleven.

To compare Halifax to Solihull is insulting. I don't think there was any inter-player animosity last night, and no bus parking. Just incompetence.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

For fear of being shot down in flames...

Can i put a sligthly different opinion forward.

Another great win and three points in the bag.

The officials were appaling and nearly ruined the game.

We however contributed towards our own problems, Dobra great player, love him , but also great at falling down fiegning injury and winding folk/refferees up.

Players moaning and getting in the face of the Ref, with zero chance of achieving anything, apart from yellow/red cards.

Cooky leading by example and getting sent to the stands.

We need to be smarter, more disciplined in the face of garbage officials. We are allowing ourselves to be dragged down to a level we are better than.

But they weren’t in the face of the referee. Naylor was miles away from him when he was sent off.

Also his first booking appeared to be for politely enquiring why the ref hadnt booked a guy for upending Colclough when he had been done all ends up and Colclough had clear space to attack into. The ref just decided to book Naylor along with a couple of others for what it seemed like by the refs playing to the crowd crowding him which also didnt happen.

Players and staff are not robots. If you want people to not react to the farce that we saw last night then you are not being realistic and may want to temper your expectations.

Sorry but you cant expect players when they are giving their all to win games to not react to the incompetance we saw last night. Its also not like they were continually hounding and surrounding the official in anyway it was just any sort of show of dismay to a decision was met with a yellow card when endless kicking of our players especially Colclough went unpunished.

I don't think you should be shot down in flames, very valid points but if anyone managed to stay calm and reasonable when presented with that refereeing performance then they need analysing for science

I firmly believe that the reason we started playing so s**t was just the pure confusion in the mind of the players at what was transpiring

Cooks disciplinary record is terrible it's embarrassing how many times he gets booked or sent off, ironically we played better when he wasn't on the sidelines
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

We scored a third goal which the incompetent linesman failed to see. Had it counted there was good chance we could have gone on to win by 4 or 5-1.
