They're in court again today, for a disputed electricity bill.
They currently have 10 outfield players available to play tonight.
Their goalie is injured, so they're waiting to find out if they are even allowed to get an emergency loan in.
They've appealed both red cards (2nd yellow for mistaken identity) and are waiting to see if those appeals are successful to give them 2 players on the bench (or 1 if they have to use an outfield player in goal)
All of this is will be settled at some point today, but you've got to feel for their manager trying to prepare for a game tonight, without knowing who he can pick until a few hours before kick off.
So far only 7 Maidenhead fans had bought a ticket.
And only 2 weeks tomorrow until the HMRC case.

Yet they still continue to win games and even defeats are hardly by cricket scores which you would expect. Im sure the chairman will have something up his sleeve to avoid the club wound up next month

They are obviously putting so much into these games. I think we may see a slip off in performance later down the season & we'll probably see a few high scoring games in the interim. Hopefully on the 18th November

High winds and 20% chance of rain expected. If the sprinklers accidentally get left on for a couple of hours I can see him getting a postponement.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

They managed to get 2 players in on non contract terms, a goalkeeper and an outfield player. Plus they won 2-0 . If they hadn't had a points deduction they would be 6th on goal difference, behind Gateshead but in front of Woking. As it is they are already off the bottom of the table above Fylde and only 4 points from being out of the relegation zone with Oldham and Maidenhead.
Got to give it to Kevin Maher and if he manages to keep Southend up this season, assuming the off field stuff gets sorted, then he should get manager of the season. He has done an amazing job so far 👏👏

Whilst i applaud what the manager is doing it feels like a fraud every time they win. Will this sway the judge next month, who knows

Have to admire Southend, but if their plight carries on, it will take a super human effort for a squad of that size to keep performing week in week out
At some point it will pop...injuries will kick, fatigue - but got to admire them for keeping going

Well I hope as soon most fans of football that they come through this and carry on as the fine club that it is.

Sadly we all have our fair share of corrupt owners - we had a couple in the last few years!

for the sake of the fans I hope they get sorted and get rid of Martin, its aweful what he's done to the club who have a good solid fanbase.
