Fellow SPIRITES, at Saturday's Dawn Gathering the Shuttlewood Stilt Dancers will perform the sacred Hindu dance, the Kathak, to a beat performed on a handpan by the Holmgate Soothsayer, Swami David Wilson.
My good friend Astra the Pagan Goddess and Official Saviour of the SPIRITES, will distribute garlands of Calendula and Sage to wave during the ceremony.
All SPIRITES are asked to remove their shoes during the dance to ensure that the Earth's POSITIVITY flows throughout the body.
A procession around the SIM Stadium will follow, after which the usual hour long meditation will be held.
All SPIRITES will then have maximum POSITIVITY to project throughout the game.
As the teams enter the pitch, let the legendary SPIRITE chant of AUM RESHNI CHAAT ring out.
Let Peace and Joy be with all SPIRITES

Thanks B. Its a shame its not on the day we play Portsmouth. The iconic shirtless, tattooed Pompey fan with the hat and bells would fit right in with the Shuttlewood Stilt Dancers.

Well at least the Shuttlewood Stilt dancers should be able to get through the floods to get there....

...just as well Astra and Paul Cook can walk on water too!

I've just had word that Swami Wilson won't be able to attend at first light tomorrow as Holmgate is all but cut off by flood waters. Don't Panic, Swami Mark Jones of Tapton has agreed to step in at short notice. His POSITIVITY is legendary. AUM RESHNI CHAAT to you all.
