That screams no contract to me which would be bizarre

I’d 100% offer him a year if it was up to me.

unless cook has someone better lined up... otherwise agreed, had a good season, definitely one our 7/10 players on a regular basis.

Not a massive surprise if that's what it means. A tad disappointing but as I mentioned on another thread I wouldn't be shocked if all the ooc players left
Here we go again!

Whittle was POTS for me behind Kabby. Would be hugely surprised to see him go.

Yeah he's a very good player at this level and imo wouldn't let us down in L2 if we get there

Surely a few will soon be joining Fylde.
These go to eleven.

He'd rather join a club not even knowing who their manager will be?! That's very odd if true

This might be unpopular, if we really are going for it with the departures which it sounds like we are, I wouldn’t loose any sleep whatsoever about Whelan or Grimes leaving.

Good interview on radio Sheffield from Mike Goodwin if anyone can post the link? Can’t seem to do it from my phone.

I hope not I really rate him. Non existent midfield since he came, put in a shift yesterday, still young fits the club ethos

A little bizarre that mate if you don’t mind me saying so, he’s never been prolific or steady on the scoring front.
We’ve seen nothing from him to say he’s going to be a goal threat and that is what he is supposed to be.
God I hate this league.

.....and scored 2 of the best goals.

He's also the best out and out left winger at the club.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

I’m in this boat
I’d have probably kept whittle because I think he’s a good squad player and he’s stayed fit for the majority of the season which is more than can be said for most of the squad.
But the reaction from some on social has been a bit OTT. You’d think he was the second coming of Roberto Carlos.
