Couple of mentions for us in the press today. Times and Daily Mail (neither of which I buy!), one interesting, the other typically ill-researched by the Mail's history of bungs mentioning Beckett's transfer in 2001.
Maybe I missed something but as far as I recall he had a dodgy contract but no talk of a bung. But that's the Daily Mail for you.

The Times has a piece about manager's sons acting as agents (Allardyce, Hart, Ferguson etc) and says 'HN Sports, for instance, where James Warnock works in Leeds. has two players at Sheffield United, David Unsworth and Kevan Hurst, who is on loan to Chesterfield, yet also has an agreement that James does not have involvement with any Sheffield United players'.

Not sure what if anything to make of that.

The Times one seems factual enough and is probably of little consequence.

The Mail is written by scum and read by idiots so I'd expect nothing less of them.

Most Sun readers in the 80s thought it was a Labour supporting paper!

Tip. Find the largest lass you can and get the next sunbed along. You get a handy windbreak, and offered chips at lunchtimes as she tries to pull you!

A factual one.

The Mail would be worse than the Sun if only it were more widely read and influential.

Sorry, I would. I only look at the Mail if I'm feeling low on self esteem - it truly is repulsive.

Chris, we've had our differences in the past, and some things you've turned out right on, but I'll never change my mind on the Daily 'king Mail *spit*. It's a disgrace.

And everyone knows that at the dentist you should read golf magazines.
