Puff……
……… I played the whole second half of one game with a broken leg, and when I got home my dad cut me half with t'calving knife. Players today have never had it so good!

I cannot imagine a player coming off in a Champions League Final with a Sprained Sholder.

The Liverpool goalkeeper basically typifies why I have little interest in premiership football which is full of ordinary foreign mercenaries earning an absolute fortune to the detriment of the sport in general because money flowing out of the game in immoral earnings deprives grass roots football. This is underlined by the fact that it is reputed that the Fulham v Villa game was worth up to £200 million to the winner and a failed Sunderland start next season in league one with a £34 million parachute payment - where will this money go and how does it create fair competition?
With such limited information, I wouldn't have even bothered with attempting to draw a conclusion; still, each to their own and all that.
It's just football, and it's just opinions.
I was a Liverpool fan as a kid, and if they are in a European final, just like any other British team, they'll have my support. I've been a Town fan for over 30 years, home and away.
My opinion on Ramos has been the same for many years; he's dirty and a cheat. If you'd want him in a Town shirt, fine, it's your choice.
'he's a winner' is not really an acceptable defence for the things he has done and still does, in my opinion. Deliberately trying to injure a player is not something I welcome; for someone like CPS to condone that, considering his job, is beyond my scope of understanding and smacks of borderline hypocrisy. Additionally, HE doesn't win, the team wins; he's just a proverbial cog in the wheel.
Blue roan...apologies for any offence, brother. Certainly no malice from my end. I couldn't see how I was giving it the 'large one' as my opinion was being spoken out loud, not directed at any one; I think that is very clear, but you kinda took it personally. Still, apologies for the latter response. I put myself on the naughty step after that...

I would never condone anyone trying to injure another player and Ramos certainly didn't do that.
He injured him yes but intentionally? No

Maybe he did maybe he didn't, but he's certainly capable of it. On this occasion I agree that he wasn't looking to injure him. He should, however have been booked for what was a cynical foul & then sent off for his assault on Karius that went completely unnoticed. As I said he's a brilliant cheat.

Ok misnomer. I was as bad. Emotions running high that night. Hopefully no hard feelings on both parts. No offense taken brother.

Every Time you run, the jumps, the twists and turns heading etc would all involve upper body movement and shoulder leverage. I'd imagine it's nigh on impossible to play at any such standard, let alone v the best footballers in the world with such an injury. I'm sure we've all had a proper sprained ankle at some time or other and they're agony and totally limit movement.
