We are badly in need of revenue, CFSS raise sod all. What harm would it do to circulate that the club would be willing to listen to offers. I don't think we would get any but it would be worth the try. This would oviously put Phil "the power" Tooley's nose out of joint but so be it.

The only answer that has ever been given is that there is nobody out there who wants to buy the club. How we know that is another matter

I have just contacted Peak to see if we can get CFSS on the radio so we can ask them questions.

I've learned through experience that contacting CFSS is a waste of time. A request for the hierachy to speak to us will doubtless be treated with about as much enthusiasm as a nasty spot on their collective bottom...

Back to the thread though, I can`t see any harm in putting the club up for sale. A bit like everyone would have thought more of Rushbury if instead of blaming the fans and everyone else, he said he wasn`t up to it and left, maybe the Boards should do just that?

& give up their 'power' & perks? unless a buyer lets it be known via the media that theyre interested in buying & so pressure is brought on the cfss to sell they'll never do it.

maybe the "pressure" has been applied a little by mr warners letter to them ref the £170 k loss?

i will have a straight £50 that within 3 month of planning being accepted and land ownership being resolved, the cfc board try to oust the cfss.

as for the peak Q+A thing. no need. the mutual back patting appreciation society have answered all our questions with the DT statement.

we`re not very good at real fundraising, and have no real idea or say in terms of running a football club

we will give up until the new ground is delivered unto us, then new ground will do it all for us.
