I think Stelling is the only reason I want Hartlepool to go down

Good! Hartlepool fans have never really been a nice bunch in my experience. Angry monkey hangers. Plus it became much easier to wish Newport well once they'd sacked the "medal winner".

Now Stelling looks sick as a pig in his Hartlepool strip
I'll be glad if he isn't gloating about a last minute winner against us next season

The bloke stands by his ultra-unfashionable home town outfit having to sit, season after season, watching then spin in ever decreasing circles towards non league.
Whilst all the time remaining somehow professional and jolly.
And for what it's worth my visits to Hartlepool proved it to be an honest club supported by honest folk who don't deserve what's happened to them.

No beef with Stelling. I don't think he was one of the hoolies who tried to attack my dad and I in the late 90s when I was about 13. I mean not ALL Millwall fans are neanderthals but it's hard to get misty eyed when they stumble on misfortune. Anyway, kudos to Newport. They looked dead and buried not that long ago.

He cultivated his grass roots football image for his own benifit, all those Manure fans will be in tears
Those celebrations with his James Brown puppet became a bit sickening
His recent outburst was embarrising, guess he was reigned in a bit tonight by his employers
He was brilliant in his early days but has now become a characture of himself, glad he won't be celebrating a last minute winner against us

I wonder what the odds for Newport to stay in the league were around Christmas time?

Despite all his 'choo-choo', 'woo-woo', 'toot-toot' trolling 'Wooly's' little club couldn't even match our worst finish in the last twenty four years.

It is called the new manager effect. It almost always happens unless you have picked a duff one

I wonder what they were as a double with pompy champions 5 games ago? Weren't pompy 25/1 a couple of games ago?
