We've signed a training cone then. The new Carl Lamb.
He's got a lot of developing to do to be football league standard if he's 23 and not already good enough.

Who says he's not fit? And which players has he signed which were injured at the time.

Doesn't say he isn't fit
"Liam is not a player who will immediately be in contention for a place in the first team, but we feel that we can work on developing him as a player in the reserves.”

just cos he's not fit, doesn't mean he's a crock.
Without a pre-season it would take even the most committed pro a few weeks to get anywhere near 'match fitness'.
Interestingly, he was actually born in Melbourne and is still eligible to pay for either Australia or New Zealand at international level apparently.

It looks to me, that Saunders is looking to the future with him. We have better options at the moment, but when they develop him and the others in that position leave the club, Liam will then take his place.

What part of "we feel that we can work on developing him as a player in the reserves.” Do you not understand?
What part of that says he is "crocked" as you put it?

He was the trialist who played in the reserves (home to Grimsby)so not crocked but maybe not as fit as we would like.
Lets not write him off yet!!
