just cos he's not fit, doesn't mean he's a crock.
Without a pre-season it would take even the most committed pro a few weeks to get anywhere near 'match fitness'.
Interestingly, he was actually born in Melbourne and is still eligible to pay for either Australia or New Zealand at international level apparently.

Why why else wouldn't he play unless he wasn't fit? He's not likely to be acclimatising or anything is he? The only reason players don't play are because they are unfit, suspended or s**t

It looks to me, that Saunders is looking to the future with him. We have better options at the moment, but when they develop him and the others in that position leave the club, Liam will then take his place.

He was the trialist who played in the reserves (home to Grimsby)so not crocked but maybe not as fit as we would like.
Lets not write him off yet!!
