Poor as Banks' is, he should've been in the squad. That bench today was a farce

I asked the same question. Because if he isn't it's a bit of a concern that Saunders has given him an extra year but doesn't think hes good enough for this squad!!!
As I was walking back to the car chuntering about the game an old boy I was talking to said he saw Banks driving out of the grounds car park 10 minutes before kick off.
No idea if he's right or what the reasons are but there you go..

Sadly they would all likely change it the way of the opposition (not that it needed changing).
Exactly, hence why we only made one sub, nobody to come on, I thought I heard Saunders says Banks did okay when he came on at Rochdale, whilst Donahue wasn't exactly praised, all points to a fall out if he was fit, annoying the question wasn't asked in the post match interviews

Well we've found our new super sub to replace Armand, another massive bloke who can't head a ball.
As far Humphreys, can anyone suggest a scenario where is might make an appearance in the 2nd half, an HT outbreak of the Black Death maybe?

Assuming no injury it'd be illogical for Banks not to be involved. Perhaps he said something DS didn't like which going by recent interviews is getting more and more frequent.

I doubt he's that delicate. He's a professional who will want to be playing every week doing a job he's lucky to have.

If I was him I'd be desperate to play for us again, booing or no booing because the way things are shaping up he's on is way out of full time football again and there won't be a third chance for him

Be nice to have someone who could actually provide competition for Jones. Humphreys is just occupying a subs spot for the sake of it.

I spend all the time worrying about the gaping holes in the starting eleven
When you start considering the lack of cover for certain critical players Evatt, Morsy, Jones and Lee (even after today's howler) one can get suicidal
