He was awful after the 2 sendings off last week (which looked justified to me). Not sure I'd like to listen to him every week he sounded like he was Mourinho

99.99% of managers "moan like a bitch" when it doesn't go the way they want it to. That's nothing new.
One trick pony? He's won promotion twice with Rochdale on shoestring budgets, what position are they in this season?
I'm sorry Town Fan but you have just come out with the most ridiculous post I've seen on here since RPL was here.

I think he's a quality manager and would hope if Cook went we'd at least try to bring him here.

Top manager and his achievements at Rochdale are phenomenal considering their likely budget. My first choice would be Richardson as he is immersed in the current philosophy at the club but Keith Hill would be a very good choice too.

If his trick is getting Rochdale promoted twice on a tiny budget - I`d take it!!
We have been spoiled by having Cook, and his refreshing interviews.

That's rubbish really, he's done a wonderful job at Dale. In the PC ethos he likes em young to develop and then sell on. Seems to be well in in that neck of the woods with City's youngsters and cast-offs.
Dale cannot be too demanding a board and it seems that he's a very good fit for all parties.
Joining Barnsley was a completely different kettle of fish, a club who seem to dice with death and who demand instant success to a degree.
That's the only job he 'failed' at so to speak.

The achievement for them, finishing above some decent spending clubs like Doncaster, Barnsley, Bradford, Posh and Fleetwood is going some. pushing for 44 games!!

I like keith hill but we need to adopt a philosophy and freeflowing pass orientated high possesion football is where we need to go..leam richardson and humph for me give us continuity.

Really? Rochdale lost at home to Swindon and Mk. Remind me what we did at home against them earlier in the season? The reality is that Rochdale lost games against top 4 teams. Rochdale at least gave it a go and kept trying to the end, and a 3-2 defeat against MK was not that bad considering Mk recent run. We did not exactly look very competitive against Bristol yesterday
