Oh, and if AG was such an important influential member of the squad, why, when the first chance had to juggle his squad after Doyles departure, does Cook bring in three new strikers and bomb AG out on loan?

Because he (or his agent) was stalling on the new contract PC wanted to offer him

Scores 3 minutes after coming on as sub; superb strike from outside the box per SSN reporter.

Yeah, a belter apparently. Shame he was on the bench initially though.

One thing I am not going to do is slag off AG.
But out of the two players I would welcome Dan Gardner back with open arms. Armand? Although I would defend him simply because of his passion and efforts that's all he can offer us. Passion and efforts. Unfortunately it doesn't bring anything to our club at the moment so it's time for us to wish him well and wave bye bye to the lad.
I would be disappointed if AG came back and DG stayed away.

I doubt many would argue with that.

A new hope.

I'm sorry but there's more of a player in AG in my opinion.

Banks has always been my man, cracking player and how he's so underrated on here is a bizarre one to say the least; having said that Dan Gardner blew me away in a home game coming on as sub (can't remember the game off hand), but his link up play, clever balls and understanding with Daniel Johnson was on another level and I was really frothing at the mouth to see the pair on the field together again. This never happened as Cookie ditched Johnson for whatever his reasons and Gardner didn't look the same when he came on again. Scunny away when he came on he drove the game and was once more terrific, but we hardly ever see his good side. Okay, injuries and being a bit part player doesn't help and hopefully he's here next year and a reserve team could be the answer to unlock the talent that is Dan Gardner. Ollie Banks is still my man though; we really do need to get him going with a decent run out. Another player that will benefit from reserve games when out of the team.

Bit of a puzzle is Gardner. When he plays he usually looks like something out of the Premiership, but then he seems to run out of steam after 10 minutes and either get injured or disappears from the game. Has he ever played the full 90, 'cos I can't remember him doing it?
If he ever becomes consistent he'll be something to see, but fitness seems to be a problem. Hope he scores a hatful for Tranmere - we don't want them getting relegated, it's s good day out.

The lower leagues Matt La Tissier according to Andy Giddings.

God I hate this league.

I don't know if its fitness, determination, injuries or what ever, but you see moments when you think he is going to be a world beater, and moments when you wonder if there is something wrong with him.

Sorry mate it's not..but it's no good discussing genuine opinions because in the end we all have to agree to disagree, but I think the one thing we can possibly all agree on is that whether we feel Gardner or Gnandullit is the most likely to make it then either of them has got to show it very, very quickly, because time, and probably patience, is running out.

I'm pretty sure it's already run out for Armand and he'll not be back :(
I think Boco leaving will turn out to be a turning point in Armand's town career ....

Wrapped up - Armand is just flat out awful, he'll never be anything above the Conference/Low L2, Gardner has potential but flatters to decieve. h again nailed it when he says it seems to run out of steam and fade away. If we can get a level of consistency and steadiness to his game there is something there. But let's be honest, he's nearly 25 already... it would be a shame to let him go and regret it if/when it suddenly clicks at another club though (Mansfield, god forbid..)
