Been out today and called in a bric a brac type of shop, had a quick look through some old vinyl and found a pristine 1970 original album of Jesus Christ Superstar with Ian Gillan as Jesus. Paid the grand sum of £5. Already had the 1973 version with Neeley as Jesus but never this version

Is the 1973 version the one where Jesus is "burning round on a Yamaha"? You know the one where he "pulls a skid, kills a kid and then hits his knackers on a dustbin lid"?

Never seen that version. The 1973 version is actually the film with Ted Neeley as Jesus.
