Madness at this time maybe but financially the club would profit from this type of promotion, maybe after the season ticket sales have run their course then it's time for derby tickets.

Maybe. Though a lot has changed at this club since 2004 regarding general demand for tickets

Exactly! The dynamics of ticket sales are poles apart from the saltergate days. I'm sure though the derby tickets would sell well and be good for the club financially though my concern would be for loyal town fans who can't in these times she'll out a lumper of cash.

They could call it the "Glory Hunter" ticket.
Great idea.
Or the, 'most people have jobs that sometimes require Saturdays to be worked, so despite loving their club to death, have to pick and choose which games they use holidays for'.

Maybe sell them as Double Matches (£34) like;
Sheff Utd & Yeovil
Donny & Bristol C
Scunny & Colchester
Barnsley & Gillingham
Notts C & Crawley
Rovrum & Swindon
Bradford & MK Dons
Rochdale & Port Vale

Well that would increase the average attendance big style IMO. Have we ever averaged 8000 in a season?

Does there come a point where income doesn't increase? Ie loads of money up front with st's but much reduced match day income when folk would have been paying full whack

To me this sounds like a lot better idea. Guarantees bigger crowds for a less appealing match too.
