Good, we need someone to replace Gray for a bit, his distribution is shocking.

Do you mean like the pass he played over about 40 yards straight through the crewe defence that put us through on goal ?

 Tends to make decent long balls when he has time to think and compose himself.Tends to collapse under the slightest pressure though.
Many a good tune

He had a bloke chopping at his ankles for that one, so he does make so good ones. Better distribution than Picks

could we see him replace Gray for tomorrow?

Hope he does, Gray has been poor in the last couple of matches and should be replaced to learn of his under performing at this moment.

"Apparently he was eating a lasagne and somehow pulled a hamstring - it has to be a world first."
—Bemused Coventry boss Micky Adams explains Whing's injury.

So, it all sounds promising, still young, big build, likes to defend, not bad ball distribution - as long as we don't let him near the lasagne it sounds good
Don't worry what people think, they don't do it very often.

........................Lee

............Whing Page Breckin

Whalley Allott Niven Rundall Goodall

Could drop to a back 4 at a moments notice. Or 4-5-1

Taking things at face value, a step forward.

Another player at a good age, bearing a decent CV, and with the incentive to earn an extended deal.

Fair play to Gray he's been a part of a back five that's been miserly since Christmas, however he has obvious shortcomings and we should always be seeking to improve the starting eleven.

Can't be bothered to look. You know what? F*** them. They're an irrelevance. We're going up, they're taking our place.

According to BBC, Cheltenham have made a couple of loan signings today as well.

Aaron Lescott (ex Sheff Weds), midfielder from Bristol Rovers and a 19 year old winger from Colchester, Medy Elito. It'll be interesting watching Hayles and Allsopp (combined age 165) trying to keep up with him!

Might just have an interesting game on our hands.

It has been a bit difficult for the lad, coming in to a side thats improved 110% on last year and get up to speed. He will improve his game under JS in future. But I think his confedence is a bit low at present due to the emfesiss on the mistakes he makes by the crowd which is bound to happen. There are obvious bad passes, But as a defender he does put in a fair few tackles and is part of a back 4 with the best defencive record we've had this season. But he has been targeted by the opposition and as such should be taken out of the firing line.

I should've expanded on that, his passing at times can be excellent but he only finds a blue shirt with 2 out of every 5 passes, some of his distrubution (I've only seen home games) is shocking, he often goes long instead of playing it on the floor and we lose posession. He certainly has potential.
