Seems to me that SB and his ilk seem to believe all that the Hubbard tells us and he stated that the planning application would be put in this month, so don't panic TF not long to wait now
I also piont you to a repl from Dalekpete from feb this year
As I see it as of today (things do move quickly) and I hope that no one is misleading you!
We hope to start building a new stadium on ten acres of the Dema site in early August. This can start without the commencement of work on the other parts of the site.
The build will take about 50 weeks allowing for an opening prior to the 2007/8 season
The build will be four sided with an initial capacity of 10000; there will be opportunities for expansion.
Football grants and the sale of Saltergate will fund the build. As the final cost of the land has not negotiated a business plan will be in place to utilise the revenue from the conference/corporate facilities.
There will be a vote of members to, hopefully, endorse the move along with meetings for members and shareholders before commitments are finalised.
The local council has taken a lead on the project with the new landowners acknowledging the build and negotiating with the Council and the Club to bring this about as part of the wider development of the area.
The finance for the community build will be separate to the rest of the build but that development will not hold back the football related development.
The only potential hold-ups would be planning complications (although none are envisaged) or a negative vote by members.
Chesterfield fans mislead never alway kept in the picture are we not

Fishi try finding out who the partner is for Wilson Bowden, then ask them why the delay is,if they say it is because Barry Hubbard and the Chesterfield board are holding everything up then i will take everything back that i have said, until then why don't you shut up,you know nothing just like the rest of us and i would imagine that includes Barry Hubbard.
