I've posted this, because I was just wondering what criteria warranted me getting a warning.
It was a close to the knuckle thread, and there were loads of people using language, or variants of, and a few very heated disagreements. I messaged Dalekpete (Mod) back, and asked him for names of others that had received them for the same thing on that thread. Alas no reply.
He did say, he didn't agree with my stance, but the warning wasn't for that, it was for being abusive. So, I'd challenge anyone to re-read that thread, and I think you'd find, I was one of the 'calmer' posters on there.
Just a bit puzzled is all.
I'm not holding my breath for a reply, anyway. The swear police must be run off their feet.

Really?? Lol
How do you know that mate?
I just wanna know if everyone who fit in the same criteria on that thread got one as well. I doubt that though, the mods would have been at it all night.
I'm gonna frame your reply. How bad-a55 am I then? Ffs.

What a repressive regime we inhabit.
Well if they think I'm subversive, who wants to join my uprising?
We'll overthrow this little lot with a coup of which the world has never seen the likes of before.

It must have been tasty as Mark Jones' reflection on the issue is still there, something along the lines of 'I hope the wretch rots in his cell, the slimy filthy pig'

Stopped off (with son and heir) at Leicester Forest East on way home. Full of Blunt fans returning from MK Dons. Two Owl fans walked in in shirts. (Exiles heading south I assume). Greeted by considerable abuse and wisely turned tail and walked away. One Blunt fan raised his arms and sang (in KFC) "I'd rather be a rapist than an Owl". Some weird people about!
My badge was eyeballed too but I guess the Spireites are just not massive enough to cause a stir!

So I'll ask the mods. Again. What are the criteria for these warnings?
Did Calvin Plummers Socks get one for being the first to use the term?
Did Newbold Steve get one for the slightly more forceful 'utter bellend'?
I couldn't give a stuff about the warnings, as long as they are doled out with a modicum of consistency.
There were far more aggressive posters, and worse language used, so what's the biscuit mods?

Not to mention him not wanting to breathe the same, vile, toxic air as people who dared to question the ruling and the reasons behind it, as a few of us did.
If Evans did do it, I too hope he rots, but lets not go there again.
So mods, can I have some answers to my questions please. I have asked politely and in a reasoned manner.

I can see this is hurting you petal, show some fortitude ffs - they are only moderators. You would never see Jack getting so wound up over a silly little yellow card.

Now then flower it isn't hurting me in the slightest Dave. I've been told to behave, and I will, as I always do.
The bit that grates is I was far from an aggressor, and would just like some answers as to why I was selected for the warning when it seems there were far better candidates.
I've messaged Pete and am awaiting a reply. He claims it wasn't because of where I threw my hat with the whole saga. Seems to me though far more aggressive and threatening tones were used by people without a thought out opinion of their own, yet these have gone by un-moderated.
Consistency. Yes that's it Dave, I've damned well got it. Consistency is key in these areas.
Ffs maaaayynnn.

Not really no. Didn't notice when I read the thread again earlier, but now you've mentioned it I probably did use those 'figures of speech'.
Not the point though is it mate? On a thread that large, on such a thought provoking subject, there were umpteen posts of a similar nature, tone, and content.
All I'd like to know is where they draw the line of distinction between behaviour warranting a warning, and behaviour that goes unpunished.
Not asking for much really, just a bit of clarity me owd!
