Just wandering what everyones thoughts are with these new back of shirt sponsorships. I think its a good idea but it may leave the door open to shirts being plastered with advertising and no shirt "left".

Hopefully this is as far as the League will allow otherwise we'll have a right arm spnser etc

Its nice however, to see local companies getting involved with Town.

they could fill the sirt for me if it brought revenue in, so long as anyone that wants to buy one can have "plain". I think the interesting thing about the article is what it doesn't say rather than what it does i.e. how much have they had to pay to get the name on?

I am not sure that we have ever publicised the amount that the various sponsors pay. We didn't say what PrintAbility paid for the same slot last season.

Why wouldn't we though Pete. It shouldn't be a secret and in addition it gives other firms an indication how much they would need to spend to follow up such a venture in the future. If people realised how little money was involved we may get a situation where more than one firm is interested and get a better deal.
Surely when we are publicly saying as a club we have anticipated budget losses we should be shouting from the rooftops when additional revenue comes in. I wouldn't have thought that after the deal is done that it is commercially sensitive anymore?

They do but the reverse sponsor has been agreed after the shirts were produced.
