Forgot to mention Kevin Davies was there too,Blathers wasn't on the pitch but he was in the treatment room and he said he could be out for a couple of weeks,Shinner trained on the pitch but he doesn't know how long he will be out,and Gareth Davies looks the biggest problem with his hip,he could be out up to 6 weeks.

Thought it was crap to be honest, bouncy castle wasn't there on time so I had two screaming kids, bought some stuff from the shop and they had no carrier bags.

Went past the stags open day today, didn't look very busy. Looked like they had a fair on for the kids, on the car park at side of ground

I don't know how much is down to the disgraceful, squalid surroundings, but to me the whole thing had a downmarket car boot feel about it. I don't wish to be critical of the effort put in by the people who organised the event. And credit to the players who signed autographs and posed for photos for quite some time. Credit also to the gaffer who did likewise and mingled with the fans. But my lasting impression from the day is of a decaying dump - God knows how bad it would look without Superfan's sterling efforts - and what message does that send out to the very people today was designed to attract, our younger fans?
"and a pair of those Geoff Mitchell glasses, please."

It was a good day out and all the players I managed to get autos/photos of were nice but I thought it was better last year as I managed to all their autographs/photos because the players were around more.

Was a nice surprise to see Kevin Davies though.

im not at anything, Davies is a legend and my favourite premiership player, should have been in the england squad over Bean-pole.

I think its great he came but are you denying that he wouldnt have come down to see his brother?

So what if he did come just to support JJ. Its always good to see the players of past and present at Saltergate. He was at the Matlock game for the same reason but still had time to talk to young kids and sign autographs
