Or could it just be down to the fact hes playing against a conference team?
All his fans will now be saying "told ya so" etc but this does nothing to change my view on him, he could score 10 in this game but he still doesnt change the fact that he hasnt/cant cut it at our level when it actually counts for something.
It's a very small step in the right direction but i doubt seriously that he will prove to be a success this season.

Shall we calm down about Jackson as well then? He scored two against Hucknall, and played well against Aston Villa reserves but that's not that good an opposition so we'll forget it.

Think you are right Murray about that. He has blistering pace but I'd be amazed if he is pysically ready for the hurly burly of league football on a regular basis

You make that sound like it's a problem Ernie?
I am not an admirer of Folan, I doubt there's any, and I would rather play any of our strikers ahead of him, but I just want to actually see him reach his full potential because I think that there is potential, and at the moment he is far from reaching it. It can be contributed to many factors, but the 'support' he receives is abysmal and will never help any player. Players are all about confidence, confidence makes the difference of shooting from 20 yards with more hope than expectation, and usually pays off.
