Again the club seem to have let a good PR exercise go past them. Why is the kid for a quid for season ticket holders only? If the paying adult as already got a season ticket they have already paid and the chances are their kids probably have a season ticket too. If any kid wants to go and dad/mum has to take them it will cost £25+ to take them if they dont have season tickets. Sorry but someone needs to think this through this is not the way to encourage kids into Saltergate. Kids are the future of the club and more and more are getting lost to Sheff Wed, Sheff United, Derby etc someone needs to sort it out.

Last season the Club was criticised because the Kid-for-a-quid offer did not apply to season-ticket holders.

The Club has listened to this criticism and an extra offer has been introduced this time just for those who have the tickets.

Thats my point why shouldn't everyone benefit? I take on board the season ticket holders should be able to benefit but so should all the others I know people who dont go anymore because its expensive to take the kids along. I realise what your saying but this time the club have isolated non season ticket holders. Is it not possible to open this thing up to all?

Pete isnt happy unless he's playing the hard done by martyr for the club. Maybe if they worked on their common sense skills instead we might be better off.

I`ve not renewed my season ticket as you prob know but I do think the club SHOULD do some offers for those with season tickets. It got to a point in the last few years where it was cheaper NOT to buy one with the offers etc floating about (not to mention corrupt gatemen I guess).

I think you'll find Pete very rarely answers my questions or others that ask more searching questions than what time is the kick off etc. Pete is happy to perpetuate a myth of this hard done by club that is getting it from all angles despite doing their best all the time. It doesnt wash anymore, look at the ground threads and CFSS threads people are questioning the faith and not supporting CFSS blindly which has put them on the defensive. By defensive I mean telling us absolutely nothing.

Who is doing the dragging down of the club? Me (and quite a few ther disillusioned souls) by pointing out things that are wrong or the people commiting the very things that are messing up the club?

The Villa friendly would have been a good kid a quid game

Its hard not to be cynical at times but does this strike me a way of the club appearing to offer the fans something, but which in reality isn't. As someone has said, most season ticket holders with kids would already have season tickets for them, especially with the good offers available in the family stand. Also as a season ticket holder, were I to take a kid with me Id have to change seat for the game as all around where I sit in Compton St is full of other season ticket holders (well was last year anyway).

put your blinkers back on T-F. or borrow a pair from hidiot again

all is rosy in the CFSS garden. ask Hidiot again.

we dont have a debt in excess of £2 million. with no idea how to pay it back.

we are not expecting a minimum£170kloss.

we have a huge budget for roy to spend.

we have the land and planning permission for the dema cash cow.

a move date has been confirmed and has not changed from 2006 to 2009 a year at a time.

the finances are already in place for the futuristic new ground.

we have huge squad.

the old stadium will be full to bursting until we move next week.

we have a reserve side.

the cfss are fund raising giants, full of innovative and unique fund raising ideas that flood the club with £50 notes.

the current cfc board are open about current levels of investment and are activly seeking new income streams and investors.

there is nothing wrong at all and your moaning for the sake of it.

Great point mate. Why didn't the Club run the offer to coincide with the sale of season tickets by discounting the overall cost, equivalent to 'get your first 2 matches for a quid a piece when you purchase a season ticket'?

The other obvious one for the Club to show their appreciation of season ticket holders would be to pick up the phone to Jez Moxey and get something sorted out for the Wolves game.

In fact, thinking about it, I bet kids season ticket sales are well down, hence the reactive measure as opposed to the proactive one! ;-)

You take the voucher from your season ticket to the main office.

If you are not able to get there telephone to make arrangements.
