Micheal Poke - 8
Great Performance was very vocal organised defence well and had no chance for the goals (Brilliant save for first but was on the floor for the follow up unfortunatley

Phil Picken - 8
Typical Performance form picks gritty and determined got up well and looked very good

Alan O'hare - 7
Good performance (brilliant clearance of the line when Poke/downes was beaten) needs to work more on first time crosses

Hazel - 7
Good performance was on the ball quite a bit and looked calm

Downes - 7
Good when balls comming at him but lacks pace and was beaten for pace a few times, however, he did recover well on a few occasions

Allott - 7
Nothing spectacular but did his job in the middle well

Niven - 7
did well but passing was woeful (mind u it is pre-season)

Paul Hall - 7
Again some good touches and some brilliant control in the first half needed to shoot sooner though

Hurst - 7
Another good performance from hurst gr8 shot that hit the bar (nearly another Brizzol City special) got clipped in second half and was then subbed

Shaw - 6.5
Held ball up well and looked to be a good player however never got into the game mainly cos the balls to feet were going straight to him and the high balls to larks. with a few more games I can see a good partnership there

Larkin - 7.5
Very good in first half chasing everything down winning the ball loads and player some players in.

The Subs

Folan - 5 (and im being generous)
Touch was poor didnt run much and looked far from sharp, his one shot hit the advertising board, many will say give him a chance but he's had more chances than any player at chesterfield has had. The whole team went flat

Chief - 6
The game was too fast for him but did well and with a better partner could have done well

Kovacs - 7
Nothing really to do, looks better than downes and has the pace that downes lacks, would love to see him and Hazel play

Lowry - 7
Another good looking player did well when comming on and worked well with Wiggins-Thomas

Wiggins-Thomas - 7
Looked very lively full of life and Lightning pace, must be signed up

Jamie Jackon - 8
Very good skinned almost the whole team and was unluck to have his shot blocked off the line, very quick and not shy at getting back either. What he has done to be behind Folan I do not know
