Yet another garbage performance infront of a phenomenal crowd. Thanks to all those that turned up to witness that crap.

Although it wasn’t pretty, I thought we battled well, had a few chances to Nick it and didn’t look like conceding.

The players mostly looked up for it, and a repeat at Halifax should see us go close.

Remember, we don’t need to actually beat anyone over 90 minutes to get promoted!

Tyson gave us an outlet 2nd half and something for the opposition to think about.

Whether he can last 60/70 mins I don't know ,but think Cookie needs to consider it.

Danny Rowe got 90 mins under his belt, and was much more influential 2nd half.

Relieved to finally get over the line, but now we can look forwards to Halifax.

Cup football now

I made a point of watching Williams today and I thought he was really good, defence looked quite solid as well. I still can’t see us going up but it was good to see us look a bit better at the back.

Desperately poor showing today quality wise. The players showed plenty of fight & desire though which is the bare minimum we ask for. It will be a minor miracle if we win the playoffs.

The idea of us turning over Halifax and then Wrexham (presuming they reach the final) is quite laughable to be honest

Halifax, Solihull and Wrexham. Should be a doddle.

Sophocles will be along soon to try.

I like Denton and he’s been an ok player for us in prior seasons, but it’s time to face facts and admit that we look a much better side when he’s not playing - he offers nothing and pretty much makes us a long ball team

Tyson started at Curzon Ashton away, really good first half but soon tired after half time. I reckon if we actually want him to have an impact he's a 60 minute sub against tired legs.

How could Woking show so much desire, determination as if they had everything to play for? They wanted to win like their lives depended on it. Is it cos they are playing in front of 9k and it's like a cup final for them? It baffles me. They had some very athletic players.

Out of County ,Grimsby and Wrexham there’s no guarantee that Wrexham will get through!

Not entirely hopeful of the play offs, but you can't win the lottery without buying a ticket.

Have to agree Denton was dire today, but so were the rest of them, with the exception of Williams and Rowe. Big difference came when Weston was subbed, and as for the long ball stuff it's down to the manager to see that they use it sparingly. As the get-out option for an under pressure defence it has its place , but it shouldn't be the only option. Passing through midfield should be the main tactic - anybody remember the last time that happened, with or without Denton.
Denton, as has often been said, should be used as a latish sub when facing a packed defence, and when he's used they have to play to his strength, which is in the penalty area. At the moment the penalty area seems to be out of bounds, and they'll do almost anything to avoid putting the ball in there, including not crossing and not shooting.

If it’s not us going up then I suppose we need to hope it’s Wrexham - as if they don’t go up they’ll chuck a load more money at it and be very strong next season

Solihull are on 1 hell of a run atm (10 wins in 13 I think it is). Wouldn't shock me if they did it (I hope not tho)
