Anyone else have this problem. Been using BB on 3G for ages on my iPhone with no problems. Just recently when using it if you scroll down a thread it just jumps back to the start of the thread making it impossible to read.
It works fine on WIFI. Any ideas?

I've put my technical hat on for a few minutes and come up with the following............

Have you tried turning your phone off and back on again.? Worked for me. Good luck.

Had no problems using it on my iPhone recently including using it on a dirt slow GPRS connection (signified by a dot on the iphone) and it was fine. Sometimes if it takes a long time to load and you start reading before its finished it can jump about a bit but thats all.

No Changes to the board setup recently Trev.

Tried it on a BB bold (an oldish one) 9700. via GPRS.
Fine with the opera browser (which is FAR quicker than BB's own browser, free too)
and just waited an age, but the existing browser worked fine - even after the images loaded.

The browser version is 5.0 from forever ago.
to find that out: Try settings -> Applications -> Core Apps -> Browser (menu button) -> properties.

I haven't got a Blackberry I've got an iPhone. Turning on and off doesn't work either. BB was short for Bobs Board.

Guessing a bit but could be worth doing Settings > Safari and then "Clear History" and "Cookies and Data" then give it a go.

Having any issues with other sites when using the phone on 3G? What network you on?

Its a bit hard to help when i'm not actually sure what its doing.

sorry Spirewriter, it's best viewed in the opera browser, just go to the same http://www.thecfss.co.uk/forums/

As for the Iphone. I finally got one this weekend.
The normal view of the board in the iphone is quite nice. however, if you want to see the full messageboard, scroll down, all the way, at the bottom there is a number of options one of which says 'Full Version'. If you click that and you'll see the site as normal.
A word of warning, i can't find a way of getting the other view back without clearing the cache as JonB put above.

Finally, Trev, I can't make it fail, i can only assume it was a dodgy 3G connection at the time which kept telling your phone it couldn't load all the page. Has it fixed itself?

Ah right. I got a Lumia800 a few weeks ago.

What do you think to the windows platform?

Seems pretty reliable to me, but not up to the quantity or quality of the I store stuff yet.

Prefer it to android though, and hopefully will get better. Can't see how it can't with Microsoft involved.

I would agree with that. The app support is the weak link, there arent enough being written, which is a shame as the ones that are are very good.

The way it integrates into all my work stuff is excellent and a real plus point as is the support to Xbox live. My fear is that by branding it as "windows" Microsoft have gimped it from the start.
