No that's not strictly true, I asked if you were a Ginger Nut. Get it right Manc. Then again, you're a man(?) so you have selective memory. If you know what i mean! Sorry I'm being unkind.

Anyways back to the captain I thinks it's got to be Blather or Shinner, mind you even when anyone else is captain Blather and Evo always were!

Im still sticking with Niven, just have to wait and see what other signings there are. I think it's a little too much to ask a new player of captaincy straight away. Unless of course they've been here before.

If this international is Fulop after the rollocking he gave to Blathers and Evo and the fact he patrols his box so well, does anyone think if he was to return he'd be a good captain?

a captain doesn't always have to lead by rollocking , if the players respect him as a professional that's all that matters , different but just as effective leadership styles .

most of us will have known a collegue or boss who is very noisy and looks the part , they think they are a good leader /captain but are ignorned and don't get the best out of their workforce / players .

therefore back to mark allot as captain ! even if sammy ( the god !! ) clingan should return allot is always the first on the team sheet .

I would go along with Allot for Captain, I think he would be a good choice.

No, I think it's got to be either shinner or Blathers, I'm sorry to say but I dont rate Allott even half as much as you guys do, he is average for our division a good squad player but he wouldn't be in my starting 11.

It's a shame becuase when he first came he was ace, and at the start of last season, I think with a good pre-season he might well turn good but to be fair would you drop hall for Allott? or Nivo? or Sammy (if he signs)?

Yes I would drop Niven, Hall I cant comment on obviously but for me he has to earn his place in the team like any other player. Allott has done that.

Niven is a battling player but his distribution is woefull, not a patch on Allotts, if we signed Clingan (if) then I would drop Niven to the bench definately. How many assists did Allott have compared to Niven last season?

Its all about opinions though.

nah I'd rather have nivo, he could nick the ball off the opponent, and the new guy to pass it !!!

Better to stop the opposition than to let them go passed!!

Yeah but you did say if we had Clingan.. He is as good as Niven when it comes to nicking the ball.

Nah, Blathers isn't captain material. Didn't his form go downhill when he was last captain? And Allott and Niven are too quiet to be captain. Shinner or new signing for me.
