Not related to Chesterfield but from the Potteries just now.

Just goes to show gloating bites you in the backside. I remember an old work colleague goading me when we lost at Vale Park in 2018. Also goes to show how thick some Vale fans are sending a plane over an empty stadium.
I've lots of reasons for wanting to beat Port Vale. Bring them on next season.

If I remember correctly the trouble that day made the BBC news that evening. My mate and I got mugged in the ground during the game and had all our money taken and we both had to walk home when we got back to town as we had nothing for bus fare. I had to walk to Grassmoor and my mate to Tupton. As if the mugging wasn't bad enough we also got a couple of slaps each on the way back to the coach after the match had finished. Absolutely horrible day, horrible fans and a horrible place!

It was when Stoke were relegated from the PL in 2018. Even though Vale survived by just one point. Had they failed to beat us on that Good Friday, they'd have joined us in non-league.
