I know most of this board are of the PlayStation variety but just wondering if anyone else has picked up a One X. I queued like a saddo at midnight to pick mine up on launch day and I’ve been very impressed.
A massive leap in performance over the standard One. I haven’t got a 4K tv to go with it but the difference it makes to the way stuff just plays makes it a more than worthwhile purchase.
Yes I am nearly 50 but I’m young at heart.

Games consoles will never cross my threshold. Far better things to occupy my little one with. Horses for courses I suppose

I had and xbox one and i bought an xbox one s as I had a 4k tv and want to use it as a cheap 4k blu ray player as well as play the 4k games.

Will probably get a one x soon but not in a great hurry to do so. More interested in VR technology.

Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

I’ve tried it on both PC and using the ones you can get with phones and both gave me really bad nausea. The phone one in particular had me lying on the floor feeling like I wanted to throw up.

The S is an updated version of the original. The X is a much more advanced one. There’s nothing wrong with the earlier models though and your lads will get loads of enjoyment out of them for years to come. I’ve kept my original XBox One for my lad when he’s older although he seems to think he’s old enough to have it in his bedroom now, he’s 6 so nope.

I'm on Xbox One but tempted to upgrade, just no idea how much better it is and what the key advancements are? Only really play Fifa and COD nowadays.

If you only play FIFA and COD I wouldn’t bother. I play a wide variety of stuff and now having seen the 4K stuff running on a 4K tv I am going to have to get one, just looks amazing.
