Despite far and away the best season for many years there are still unbelievably some who whinge and moan and seem desperate for us to fail. Heaven knows what they were like during the recent awful years of decline. Presumably they enjoyed those years.

i was in the north stand again tonight and there was a guy and his young son who spent the entire evening on our players backs, quite unbelieveable, yes we weren't at our best tonight but there's opposition out there who aren't just gonna let you have it all your own way, we had to work hard for that win tonight and credit to both teams for a good match, at the end of the day we got the result, a big result going into the weekend.

In a past life,they probably threw rotten vegetables at people in the stocks, and would be found baying for womens blood who'd been accused of being a witch. If the team aren't playing well they need that support more than ever, but last night it was very flat both on the pitch and in the stands.

Disagree slightly, there's a definate hint of aggression which usually turns to evasiveness.

For example. Did he go and cast his discerning eye over towns potential future when on his door step at Welling or was he stuck behind his keyboard? After a bit 'what's it got to do with you' type of thing, the simple question remains unanswered.
