Warfey,it was obvious that things were troubling him off the field and that he couldn't leave it separate to his job. I don't know what problems he had and neither do I want to, but I would have kept him and converted him to a winger/ wide midfield player who can help out at the back.
I hope he gets a contract at a decent club and he enjoys the rest of his career. I'm sure if he comes back he'll be welcomed by us all. Thanks for memories Jeff.
He's 28 so probably a bit late in the day to be converting players plus as it stands we have Mandeville, Dobra, Berry, Colclough, Drummond it seems and potentially Jacobs to play on the right wing.....at one point to we get to the point of needing to use a converted full back? -

Haven’t Sky said that each League 2 team will be on a minimum of 20 times each. If that split 50/50 home and away that’s nearly half the home games getting messed about with kick off time all over the place.
I think that includes all midweek games and bank holiday games so that reduces the amount of Saturday games that’ll get shifted. -

Might impact the supporters who go away to watch CFC regularly. If reciprocal agreements are put in place.
If we're meeting the league requirements then other clubs will have to as well plus i suspect a lot of clubs in League 2 will have grounds with one away end and thats that. Cant see it being much of an issue. -

It not hard to guess the teams the spent more on the playing squad than us last season. I calculated York had 40 starters last year and Oldham have 19 under contract, 14 out of contract and a number of loanee. No mention if any of those 14 are being retained
York had 38 players that started games, 40 used in total. Oldham 30 different starting players, 32 used in total.
