Been following southend plight ,there backin court like someone said , apparently last chance saloon think 250 k was. Mentioned by court could be more judge saying last chance after several postponed hearings,there's a Australian and someone else looking to by club,but there chairman Ron Martin is another rogue so they say, interesting reading.

It was, the problem with the sale is, he won't sell the ground, he wants to rent it back to the new owners and also have the new ground built and own that too, ( if I've understood it right) so basically the new owner would buy just the football club,inherit summat like a 3 or 4 million debt and not own the ground..the old one or the new one

Live on TV ...... an ideal opportunity to end up with another "sit in" and protest from the Southend fans. Maximum TV exposure to air their frustrations at the Board and vent their anger at the current situation.

If there's been no takeover by then, they eont get the chance, the judge/magistrate warned them last time that there's no more chances, 4th of October is D day for them

As far as I understand he doesn't own the ground Sainsbury's do and have planning permission to build a new supermarket there.
