On a 5 figure salary per week at Wedenesday. Given we are already over budget and asking for more money from DA I doubt we are in a position to be even offering 4 figure a week salary. Logic dictates zero chance of this happening.

Too much pop last night Met? I haven't knocked the 2 signings in themselves, in fact I defended the lad from Shrewsbury while some criticised the signing. What I and others have criticised is the failure to sign a recognised defensive CM, which was imo top priority, the elephant in the room if you like. Guess you are happy with our midfield so maybe you have changed your opinion on Caldwell again. Anyone know why the Dimaio move fell through?

On a serious note, didn't DA say any transfer fees received, it would be 70% to him (I mean paying off debt) and 30% back into the squad etc. So, I suppose the 30% paid for the players brought in yesterday.
