Ole saying they parted company due to a different philosophy..I assume Vincent Tann's philosophy was that a manager should win a few games, whereas Ole's wasnt..

It makes my arsse laugh when chairman say "it's with a heavy heart" whenever a manager is sacked or resigns. If they liked them that much then they'd stick with them.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

This one concerns me slightly. This and the Fulham job.
I'll be a happy man when the seats are taken and our manager still sits in his.

Good shout that one, and he's Welsh to boot! I see the Sligo/Accrington switcharoo has happened again, John Coleman gone back for a second spell.

Pulis is a massive Cardiff fan. Only the owner would stop him from that job.

Gutted Adams has left Vale, was really hoping he would stay and get them relegated. Guess I will have to make do with him unemployed and Vale relegated anyway.

Really don't think we have anything to worry about from these 2 clubs.....both will be looking for a proven at a high level or a big named manager to keep the fans happy as both have had a bad yr so far
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

They're welcome to him, he was no real use (in the long run) at the Liberty.

These foreign owners will want some with a bit more profile than Cook.
A new hope.

Given until the end of October to make the job his.

The chairman consulted Pulis (hence the daft rumours of him getting the job) prior to appointing Page and has also said that if a new manager does come in, he'll have to accept Page as his number 2. Obviously, well thought of.

That's an interesting article on the Stoke Sentinel website with the Vale chairman at their presser. He admits regrets over letting Adams release Sam Morsy and a weird interpretation of the 'Peterborough model'.

They had no real choice though, they must have offered him a new deal, no less than his existing terms, and he chose to sign for us instead, meaning they got a fee.

BBC website reporting that Leyton Orient have rejected an approach from Cardiff for Russell Slade. If Slade is on their radar, is Cooky also?
