You can love him any way you like.

Who am I to criticise your personal peccadilloes?

Two years ago plenty of us could see a class player when we watched one, his career didn't get off to a good start with us but he has more than proved himself as a quality player, an exceptional pro and human beng. He is a class act simple as that, we have several players that fall into this category.
The team spirit and belief within our squad must be phenomenal right now.

There will be one on here soon, 'proving' to you that you are wrong. And I can guarantee you will tire of posting before he does.

.. And I was one of them, following the infamous away game at Rotherham I would have gladly paid the taxi fares of both Hird & Richards to get them out of the club, but hats off to Sam, what a vital player he has become and credit too to Cooky for keeping faith in him. Dare I say, I love the both of them! 😍

I'm hanging fire on a proposal until after I've seen their goals.

One thing I always find frustrating is that commentators never feel confident enough to use their supposed knowledge to explain where a mistake stems from when we concede. It will be interesting to see.

The renaissance of Sam Hird since he arrived as captain, is a great credit to him. He could have sulked at losing the captaincy, his place and being transfer listed. His desire and professionalism in turning his career ( and many fans..myself included) around, is to be applauded.

I think many were in the mind set he wasn't justifying the high wages he was supposedly earning.

There's no qualms their now though

I think I warmed to Hird when he was out injured and was the guest on the radio commentaries. Very passionate about town and couldn't control his delight when we scored

...and I have to say on first impressions, Sam looks at fault to me. Do I care?.

Having just seen the goals, Hird could shoulder some blame for both goals.. made up for it with a beaut header!

On first impressions, Sam took his goal, his second in three games, very well.

Looking at their first goal it looks very close to offside imo

Evatt certainly thought so judging by his Tony Adams impression....
