They've already had a black kit 2015 I saw an inbred looking bloke wearing one at an airport

Chapter 853 of the eagerly awaited 'How to ruin a football club's reputation......and more' has just been written.

Absolutely hilarious.

Chapter 854... 'What do you mean we can't play 11 outfield players?' Is next.

He was obviously oblivious to the possibility of us being relegated when he chose the kit in October. I would guess this required a substantial up front deposit.

I might be wrong but wasn't black the kit colour for the alleged rigged fans' poll vote scandal?

I wonder if it was a non refundable deposit.

myself and a fellow spireite were discussing the other night that if we paid the club for an advertising board that read "Carson out" presumably the club would have to display it, the club need the money so couldn't really turn down the sponsorship...

Well, who'd have thought it. Looks like Chris Turner was the brains behind the operation after all.

I'm told the kit was selected back in October and Puma weren't aware either as the rep has just confirmed. May use for the academy or save for next season when we return (not my words) 500 have been ordered. Tomlinson's were involved with the choosing of the kits but this was never a consideration.

Plan is to appeal to the league and ask for dispensation providing an alternative officials kit. I'm told here will be 6 teams that will clash with the blue kit next season and the long lead time was because it's a bespoke kit.

Teams in Royal Blue at home are

Dagenham & Redbridge (Blue & Red halves)
Eastleigh
Hartlepool (stripes)
Halifax
Solihull Moors
Barrow (white with blue sleeves)

All Dave Allen had to do was point at any supporter in the room as he so publicly walked out the Club and say 'I'm putting you in charge'.

If he'd done that I guarantee, absolutely guarantee we'd still be in the EFL - possibly even L1 - a seven figure sum better off and maybe, just perhaps, enjoying life-changing investment from China.

But instead...

It’s like watching a fish out of water floundering isn’t it.

Only 500 and the order couldn’t be cancelled or changed in the last 3 or 4 months when relegation was inevitable? Absolutely no chance. They didn’t have a clue of the rules and it only came to light once the supporters picked up on it today. Shambles.

here's a thought, didn't tommy have an all black kit one season, why not give them to tommy lee and sell them on as part of his testimonial events, then go back and design another one from one of the other available colours in the world.

Ask Ashley for a copy of the order confirmation.

Risky, Carson would probably just opt for a yellow shirt blue shorts combo instead
