I understand that not all of the registered users are Saltergate regulars (myself included) but with over 10,000 registered users there must be an awful lot of stay away fans! Can anyone explain this anomaly?

The messsage boards got 1300 or so registered users some accounts are fans from other clubs and some accounts are defunct email address changes forgotten passwords etc
The Official websites got well over 10,000 again dubious accounts dodgy emails etc are apart of that number but like many clubs alot of people who follow the clubs fortunes for whatever reason but cant get to games for various reasons
For instance Bolton have well of 100,000 registered users by that reckoning the Reebok would need several extensions to get them all in.
The biggest clubs in website user terms in League Two are Luton and Gillingham with virtually twice as many users as ourselves. Like it or not we are on a par near the bottom of the registered users table with the likes of Rochdale, Bury, Rotherham, Darlington, and Macclesfield
