It's a lifetime for us though Warfey. How are you doing at the moment now that you are exiled from the Mecca?

To cheer you up I remember seeing you in the early seventies at Portsmouth away (we lost 3-0 I think) and as for most places in those days it wasn't the friendliest. I was a youngster at the time (I am 50 now) and remember you in a suit with a gorgeous bird on your arm walking through the crowd full of confidence whilst I was, well you know what!

Thought I would try and lighten up a currently fairly drab and depressing time for most folk but especially you knowing how much you love watching Town.

Best wishes, Paul.

Not well but you will by sight from the away trips in particular. Hope you feel able to come to some of the games again in the future as we need every supporter we can get.

No question, Rico is here for a lot longer than most want. It was interesting to hear him acknowledge that he has never been a fans favourite and that he's "not stupid", but the axe isn't going to fall whilst the ownership of the club remains in limbo and the move to the new ground remains well into the future. That said, falling attendances and poor results can only be allowed to continue for so long, and I would guess that another 3 or 4 defeats on the trot will be enough for him to call it a day and look for a settlement under his contract to go. 3 months salary should make the pain easier and give him time to consider whether he has a future in the game, which must be crossing his mind on a daily basis at the minute. 3 or 4 wins on the trot and Bazz comes back off his hols thinking Rico is as good as Mourinho and he can justify no change until his white knight arrives from Hillsborough, and then it's not his problem any more.
The most likely though is that we will win one, draw one and lose two, stay mid table and keep the balance on this board the same with as many wanting him to go as those who want him to stay. For my part, I want him to succeed quickly and show he can make it as a Manager, but he should recognise that if this doesn't happen then he has to stand aside without leaving the decision to the Club, and outstaying his welcome any more than necessary.
In short, October is make or break!!
