Flinders
Flinders was the same reason as Savage. The players club wanted a higher wage contribution.
Has it ever been confirmed we have been in for Dowson? Its not like he has gone anywhere else.

Answered your own question TF. Of course there are the ones who the club "claimed" to have enquired about and failed to land. Having not known who they were we can only speculate the reasons why we failed.

How many international caps does Derek Niven have?
How many Premiership appearances?
I'd swap the two in a heartbeat

Look at Warhurst, Former prem player etc, but just past it, by a long way. I see savage in the same light.

That may be the case, but Savage still has some talent unlike Warhurst
And he is streets ahead of Derek Niven
I can't believe people are seriously comparing the two...
If Niven was that good, he'd still be at Bolton, or on the books of a Championship club, looking for an ambitious league one loan move
Wrexham was a nice idea, reality was they couldn't afford him if all their Christmases came at once

instantly makes him 100 times better than Niven
I have in the past been supportive of Niven, but it's shocking how downhill the lad has gone since signing for town, must be all the top notch coaching he's getting
