Does anyone feel that the support and encouragement the team receive after the Lowry/Wilson incident had a distinctly positive effect?

Up until that point the vocal support had been pretty non-existent but the crowd got behind the team and it improve them effort and performance and if we could have forced an equaliser we would have gone to win the game.

Discuss......

dont think it was because of the crowd because the crowd was aiming its frustration at one player. I think the players just decided to up a gear when it was far to late.

The support was fantastic at Dagenham and Rochdale and we didnt win there....

Sorry but it must be different fans attending home or away because the home support as been shocking. we won our last home game before saturday and the support wasnt any better..

they are the same one lesley unfortunately those fans that dont see the away games only base there opinions on the games they get to. I've not been away yet this season but i've been informed that the Rico Out chants have been used at Rochdale.

Can't agree on Saturday. Every murmur of "Rico Out!" durng the game was met by chants of support I think given the performance - which was patchy the fans were n the whole supportive and responded to the few periods of constructive play.

:D True the support is different between home and away matches, but don't kid yourself, the feelings of the support at the end of the match at Spotland was much the same as Saturdays.

Support at home is poor. Its not like we cant create an atmosphere, cos when we did chant its loud and sounds good. Just few choose to start chants off anymore like they used too.

I disagree the feeling at the end of Rochdale was disgust at the referee.

I missed the games after Bury by choice and attended saturday to try to support my team who have been part of my life for 39 years I am witnessing probably the most predictable and clueless football in most of that time and I can only say Support of the team is hard when you never look like scoring

my feeling was dissapointment at our inability to take our chances.

The ref had a decent game i thought and it certainly wasn't his fault we lost.

Yes. And the players got angry too and upped their performance. Galvanised by hospitalisation. A very risky tactic with such a small squad....

Glad Jamie will be ok.

If we had equalised and decided that the next goal was the winner like you used to on the rec then we would all still be there now

Just a thought; was it more a case of Teixeira being introduced up front that gave us an added impetus?

 Certainly gave their defence something else to think about. Need to judge him over 90 mins, never know, could end up being Rico's saviour.

completely disagree Rico out chants gradually got louder as the game went on. At full time it was louder than ever before.
