Yes, you're right he did, and you're right again he didn't.
Which leads us back to square one I guess.

What do I do? Nothing to write home about, but I have a full time job and not much time to spare.
I do activeley try to get involved in fundraising idea's and am willing to put what spare time I do have to try to make such idea's work.
I go to all the volunteers meetings and try to help as much as I can (given my time constraints)
To put it short I do all I can, but I know that is not enough.
I don't think all but 2 of the CFSS board member's can say likewise.

I think I would disagree with that bit Danny. I know I don't know much about what goes on but I know at least 2 people other than Howard and Phil who do put lots of time in, and they too work full-time, have family commitments etc. It just seems to me that the whole thing needs a complete shake-up. Whether that will happen we shall have to see, but it's meant to be OUR club at the end of the day so surely we should be able to have some say. Shouldn't we?

If they do, then I take my hat off to them - and I genuinely mean that.
I don't know who they are though and am speaking from things as I see them, as I don't know all the CFSS board member's then I may be barking up the wrong tree completely.
The fact that no-one explains what they do doesn't help their cause though.

I would have to disagree with you there Danny with regard to all but 2.
Ian B works tirelessly, his efforts never get mentioned but he does a lot, look at his input to the gala day. The lady who is always at the meetings whos name I forget, she too works hard.

Is she the lady with blonde hair and glasses, Sue something? (sorry Sue if you're reading this). She also helps out with the Groundstaff Fund-raising Committee? That's another team that put loads of time in too, every time I go up to the Club I see Geoff (or Fred as I call him) working his socks off. Anyway, I digress...

Evening Loz,
Looking at the share register, I see you are a shareholder. Did you happen to go to the AGM? What did you happen to make of our 'representative', when Andy Wheatcroft challenged the CFC 2001 Board our the ground move / dema site?

No, sorry I didn't. Unlike me to miss an AGM but unfortunately I did on that occasion.
