Why ? Fans getting beyond their remit imo. This is just another indirect sniping re decisions made at board level. We should be very grateful that the Kirk's came on board when they did, the business's were running away with costs without real business acumen being in place.

I have absolutely no doubt that they will have negotiated a deal which financially benefits the club and that the exaggerated moans about substantial pitch damage will prove totally unfounded. We have no right to know what the deal is worth, but the Kirk's didn't make their millions by doing worthless deals. Roll on the new season - can't wait.

I don’t think it’s personal prejudice (apart from towards Sheff Utd obviously) Fans require transparency because we’ve had dodgy people making bad decisions for the club previously.

Dress it up with transparency for the fans and you are indirectly demanding to know what’s been decided at board level. We’ll I’ll say it again we are not entitled to know every minute detail of how the club is being run,

There’s a big feel good factor and excitement around the place atm, just go with the flow and let the season start.
God I hate this league.

I'm not sniping at all. I'm saying I trust the new incumbents to have struck a far better deal for the club than what the previous car crash incumbents did on this particular subject. But I'm also suggesting it would be good if the benefits to CFC were made public (if possible)to help quell the mistrust of this deal by the many that are untrusting of deedahs.

Poppy cock Michael, **** em ! If they can’t grasp that this is a deal for the benefit of the business then let em just live in their small minded world.
God I hate this league.

I live in a small minded world because I disagree with the Blades playing at our ground?
Do I live in that same world if dare disagree with you?
Am I not entitled to a view without being belittled?

Fair enough.

What’s your view on us utilising Staveley? Academy games on there and first team training sessions last season.

Should they be getting all upset?

I suppose you could argue our pitch is grass, and will deteriorate with the extra use, where Staveley's is 4G?

That said, the benefit to the club could out weigh that, let's be honest, BorehamWood have arsenal ladies on their pitch, and Barnet have Tottenham ladies and both their pitches looked well when we played them, so who's to say definitely that it will damage the surface...
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

So county borders and an artificial pitch as opposed to grass are two valid reasons, for some.

However, Tomjoad stated the reason for the objection was that someone else was using our ground.

We’re using Staveley’s ground on a regular basis.
