Thanks for the info, has the draw for the 3rd round been made or are you just making the point this is the stage the premier league clubs enter and we might get drawn against one ?

Saw John East, Burnley scout, having another close look at CH Sharman, who he described as 'an outstanding prospect'.

he might have been impressed by the PV left back anawl. Tall, gangly, best player on the field.

I can't weigh Willock up. Lovely lad, Tony Brien pace, two footed, very aggressive, yet released by Walsall. Does he look good because he's alongside Sharman?

Centre forward Rawson also 1st year and Chesterfield lad - both played in junior football in same team - very promising also.
Willock v Sharman - Willock heads it and kicks it to good effect and is very quick - Sharman heads it and kicks it when he needs to but shows composure and can play as well. Willock physically stronger of the two but Sharman, like Rawson, is only 16 and for 16 year olds they are both big lads and will get stronger and better.
The youth team is worth watching with lads like this in it.

Willock was obviously a punt , ditched by Walsall, hardly played any non league football, still only 17 and growing, perhaps he was only 5'5" when Walsall released him?

Love hearing comments like this after watching Jamie and luke up front together for Barry Tomlinson's Chesterfield Town side since the age of 9

I understand Sharman scored 100 goals one season playing as a forward in junior football - according to Rawson's dad when I was talking to him at a game.
