Hi
Yep, sorry, I answered LOZ at the same time.

This is what Howard wrote.
'I'm quite happy to stand down if it causes such offence. Would the most critical one please come and take over', so is it strictly true or not?.
I have no personal vendetta against Mark. Please show me the evidence.
Doesn't his thread above show that he has a vendetta against me?.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I am not really bothered who has instigated any vendetta to be honest.

The evidence is clear for all to see in the tone of your post, I do not need to show any other.

Mark was not being critical towards Howard if you read the post through again you will see that Mark was never critising Howard, in fact he was sticking up for him.

yes Danny, thanks for that. I don't think anybody has actually at any time suggested that Mark was criticising Howard.

you suggested that Mark's comments in some way persuaded Howard to stand down.

but I would have thought that the apology should go to Howard, who on reading your jibberish would naturally have felt like resigning. Please use all your influence to try and stop him.

Groan. As Basil Fawlty said, I hope we can clarify this before one of us dies.

Mark's posting created the impression that I had criticised Howard, because Mark thought that I was SALTERGATE, whover he (or she) is.

I would like to take up the point about free/complimentary tickets, this practice should stop immediately we need all the money through the gates we can get,i don't care and i am not at all in any way jealous of any one who gets them, the only way a free ticket becomes available is like through a prize draw.

Reading between the lines and not knowing the facts on either side (I have never met you and I have only met Mark at Volunteers meetings and twice in the pub on message board get together's) what Mark was saying is that you pm'd him a while ago (presumably under the name Vierra Duckworth) about Howard being paid and told him it was hush hush. (I do not want to labour on that point because I do not want any-body in any way shape or form to think that that fact is important. ) I am presuming that is what he thought that you were using the new name SALTERGATE.

If I have read the post wrong then I publically apologise to both you and to Mark.

The tickets that SALTERGATE was suggesting are for away games blue, the club wouldn't lose out on any revenue at all.

That said I don't believe that the person who was suggested gets free tickets actually does.

Here you go

SALTERGATE, on Jun 16 2005, 10:45 AM, said:

Well done Mark, what a super hero you are, anybody would think that people have never done anything before for this club, like walking the Pembrokeshire coast, arranging 10 mile sponsored walks, having stalls at medieval market day, 7 mad men travelling to every ground in the country, sporting dinners with Jack Charlton and Gordon Banks etc.. People knocking on doors in every inch of North Derbyshire to get signatures so their season ticket money could be used so the ground could be upgraded,, counting coppers in the office till the cows come home to pay Mike Pollitt's wages whilst most of the CFSS board sit back and watch, or even get paid through grants for invented positions within the society and club (like community liason officer, roles not seen advertised for in the real world so we ensure we get a qualified experieinced man for the job)! making sure they take their free tickets for the away games  (and friends, ask Spireloz) .

On the subject of the ground, people are bound to be sceptical, worried that we will be screwed once again, lets face it our board are Norton's sidekicks and they have a track record of cocking up on ground relocation, the only secure piece of land we have, not open to a Sissons type of businessman is Saltergate, we should and still should upgrade our ancestral home now and move forward, and don't start the crap about generating money, if Saltergate is done right we would generate money significantly more than we do now and if we market it properly the ptotential to generate as much as a new stadium based on it's close location to the Town Centre.

Good luck Mark, enjoy Chatsworth, you are an incredible breed, CFSS have managed to grind most supporters into the ground but you show incredible resillience, keep up the good work.

They do not - the home team gets all the gate revenue from league games, only in cup games would we get any gate revenue from an away game.

Well as i don't have any access to that information i was always led to believe that the away team got a cut.

I'm thinking of holding a 'Quiz Dave Bowler' night as a fund raiser.

No, that's quite ok. Mark thought that SALTERGATE's nasty swipe at the Community Liasion Officer was aimed at Howard.
Howard's payments were all above board and fully endorsed. Indeed, I seconded one of the proposals to pay him.
In a private and confidential email PM to Mark, with Mark fully aware of my real name, I had a moan about minutes not being published punctually and said that this created the impression that some decisions for example Howard's payment, which I fully supported, were being kept hush hush.
For Mark to imply that I backed the delay was very naughty, but it just supported his case for nailing me as SALTERGATE. Some people can be trusted with private emails, and others can't.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on
