Sounds like trouble brewing at Accrington with social media rant by holt confirming he is putting club up for sale

Assistant manager called him out on new contracts for him and the manager in the post game interview…sounds like he’s not happy with it.

Looking at the bottom of league 2 table it’s becoming apparent that the bubbles “burst” and a lot of these clubs are being found out. Sutton look doomed and the vegans will probably follow them.

No disrespect to Accrington, but there are far bigger clubs in the league below what we are in. A lot of these clubs forget where they came from, Accrington in my eyes will always be a mid table northern premier club locking horns with Matlock and Alfreton.

I follow him on Twitter and have for a while.

He’s absolutely spot on most of the time. A loss for Accrington.

This does seem like the straw that’s broken the camels back though.

His interview on this specifically is very reasonable.
Won’t put the club at risk, will keep going as long as required. Won’t sack the blokes, won’t give them a new contract if until they deserve one. Points out that they got them relegated last season and kept them on. Just says he doesn’t have the drive to keep going any more.

Fair play to him. The school kids free shirts deal is excellent community outreach too

Yeah, I agree with DIFH. They are a much bigger club than those but have been in a false position (given their facilities) for years. All good and well to them for their achievements but it would absolutely pain me to think that if we knocked them out of the FA cup then we'd be classed as giant killers. 😒

Their fans helped pay for a new stand down the side.
